Teocalli

Teocalli is the name given to the Aztecan stair step pyramids in Mexico – the word literally translates to “House of Luck” or “House of Gold” In the case of our Firm it is named after the Teocalli Bowl an extreme area located at the Crested Butte ski resort in Crested Butte Colorado.

The bowl on Crested Butte is an epic Double Black Diamond where the risks are worth the rewards. The formidable ever changing conditions force one to be acutely alert and flexible as well as being adaptable and innovating at the speed of now. For the most difficult vertical extremes there is a phrase which also happens to be on a sign at the start of a ski trail in Crested Butte , ” To Fall Is To Die”. As harsh as that is – it is a reality that in the business world simply equates to: “Failure Is Not An Option.”
