What Do The Above All Have In Common?

Both during and after (1st wave) the pandemic the above saw a massive increase in sales/use/involvement/participation/share price during the Covid period. All of them can be linked to a shift in behavior for a large portion of the population the past year +. The behavioral shift was over to risky and extreme behavior – More specifically from the list above it was shown in two areas which I happen to know quite allot about – Capital Markets & Extreme Sports.

The list could be much longer and logically the increase in risky behavior could even be linked to the increase in violence in the United States since Covid – (increase in Mass Shootings)

Because dopamine produces a natural high, risk-taking behaviors can help you get a positive mood and a new perspective without the risks associated with drug use.”
